Hayley Coleman - Owner
Hi! I’m Hayley I am the owner of Studio8dance! Any emails or text messages you send you will hear back from me and I’ll be at the studio for almost all the classes!
A little bit about me, I’ve been dancing since I was 2 years old. In that time I’ve completed my Jazz and Ballet SFD exams, participated in dance competitions, performances and concerts! I went to high school at Rowville Institute of the Arts where I completed my VCE but also got my Certificate II in dance! I also got accepted into Kelly Akers full time dance and Spectrum full time dance.
I’ve been teaching for the past 5 years and I love everything about it. For me I find this one of the most fulfilling jobs, being able to help dancers achieve your goals is the best feeling!
I am also currently studying to be a qualified Pilates Instructor which I’m due to finish in March! This is helping me understand how to better dancers even more from a strength and mobility standpoint!
Hannah Underwood - Tap, Musical Theatre and Voice teacher
Meet Miss Hannah! Miss Hannah will be teaching our voice, tap and musical theatre privates!
Hannah graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA) with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (music theatre) in 2024. Prior to this she completed a one year musical theatre course at Associated Studios in 2021. Since graduating, Hannah made her professional debut touring the country performing in Waltzing the Wilarra (HIT productions) as Young Harry/Athena in 2025. During her time at VCA, Hannah was Dance Captain in ‘Curtains’ and played the role of ‘Martha’ is Spring Awakening. She also performed tap music theatre numbers at VCA’s ‘Morning Melodie’s’ performances at Hamer Hall in 2023 and 2024.
Sarah Mclaughlin - Teacher (Multiple styles)
Meet Miss Sarah! Miss Sarah will be our sub teacher at the moment, so you will see her around taking classes or workshops throughout the year!
Sarah went to high school at Rowville Institute of the arts while training at Kix Dance Studio and May Downs Performing arts.
Sarah studied full time dance at Spectrum global arts in 2025 and has her cert 3 and 4 in dance.
Sarah has been teaching for 7 years as well as working professionally as a freestyle dancer for corporate events.
Sarah also danced a Disneyland and universal studios.
